MARRIED MEN V SINGLE MEN – Let’s Get It On
This one is unique, that’s for sure. For the first time ever Plunkett Park will host the battle of monogamy as the married/engaged guys go head to head against their single counterparts.
Despite the fact that the married lads may have had one too many cooked dinners and are arguably suffering from prolonged bouts of sciatica they will no doubt want put in a good showing.
As for the singles, well they will be out for blood……..and if they can get a few dates as a result of a good display on the pitch, they will take that too.
The match is fixed for a 5.30 throw in, on Saturday 6th April at Plunkett Park with refreshments and food provided for all spectators and players at the pitch, entertainment will follow that night in Murphys bar.
Anyone interested in playing should contact Denver Nugent on 07810411677 or Joe Cunningham on 07955017824. £5.00 per player and £5.00 per spectator. If you are over 18 and below 80, then get your name in there. One stipulation though – Participants must be Club Members (for insurance purposes).
