Tyrone GAA | GAA MAIN SPONSOR - E.Quinn Contracts

Club Notes 27th June 2016

Pomeroy Na Pluínceídí CLG notes for 27th June 2016
Mens - Seniors beat Donagahmore at home last Sunday in what turned out to be a thrilling finale. The lads trailed by 1 point in added time but a freak own goal from a Donaghmore defender seen the Plunketts run out deserved winners on 1-11 to 0-12. The reserves put in another fine shift and come away the victors on a final scoreline of 3-7 to 1-11. It will be all quiet on the senior and reserve front as we enter the summer break on a high. Well done lads on extending the winning streak. Best wishes to the Red Hands and our own County lads, Hugh Pat, Frank and Kieran this weekend.
Ladies – U12 training on Monday nights at 6pm sharp and any new players wishing to join are welcome. Parents are urged to bring the girls out for training. The girls are away to Kildress in the league on Thursday night at 7pm. U16 girls training continues on Monday and Wednesday nights at 7:30pm. Best wishes to senior player Michaela McGuigan and all the Tyrone Senior ladies as they take on Down in the Ulster final.
Thanks to all who helped out in any way during the recent Jason McKenna, Pease Kennedy and Jackie Lambe tournaments. We could do it without you. Thanks also to the ground staff for the immaculate condition of Plunkett Park over the weekend.
Centenary funday takes place at Plunkett Park this Sunday 3rd July with a multitude of activities and events for all. It all kicks off with a 5k fun run so get out early and make a day of it.
