LOTTO
The winning lotto numbers for Monday 7th June were 2, 7, 20, 23 and 26. Fourteen winners matched three numbers winning £10 each, £140 paid out. Lotto is available from all shops and from committee members. Lotto is also available on a yearly basis, for only £45.
JACKPOT IS NOW A MASSIVE £20,000. REMEMBER IF YOU’RE NOT IN YOU CAN’T WIN.
There is to be a change to the lotto from next week, the jackpot of £20,000 will be frozen and a new second jackpot will be started at £1000 and will build up by £50 weekly. The second jackpot will eventually take the place of the first jackpot when it is won. Commencing from Monday 14th June. For more information contact Gerry McKenna.
SENIORS AND RESERVES
Round 7 of the All County League continues this Friday 11th June, away to Urney. Reserves throw in 6.45 and seniors throw in 8pm.
Training for the men continues as normal on Tuesday and Friday at 7.30pm, everyone welcome to come and watch the training sessions.
LADIES
Round four of the ladies league is away to Fintona, on Tuesday 15th June at 7.30pm. Training continues on Monday and Thursday at 7.30pm, if unable to attend contact Lorraine Girvan on 07889205048.
YOUTH
SUMMER CAMP
Pomeroy will host the summer camp on the week beginning Monday 2nd August. The camp is for boys and girls aged 7-12 (including 1st years). Cost £25 per child, each child receives a specially designed kit, backpack and football. Application forms available from youth officer (Brendan Fullen) and also at www.tyronegaa.ie. Places are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment.
Can all managers please ensure that you provide all upcoming fixtures, updates, reports and scores before Sunday night 9pm.
NIGHT AT THE RACES
A night at the races has been organised for the Saturday 3rd July, in Murphys starting at 9pm. All committee members will be selling horses and races. Horses are on sale for £10 each and race sponsorship is £50. Contact Colm Rafferty for more information on 87759120. Please support this fundraiser for the club.

CONDOLENCES
The members and committee of the Pomeroy Plunketts send sincere condolences to the family of Greta Laird who passed away on Monday 7th June 2010. Greta is the wife of our Honorary Vice President Eddie, mother and grandmother to playing members and coaches. Our Lady of Knock pray for her.

PRIMARY GIRLS
There is training on at St Mary’s PS, on Tuesday from 3.15 to 4.15. All girls from P3 to P7 can attend. This is a great fun way to learn the basics of girls football.
U12/14 GIRLS
Training this week on Saturday at 11.30am.
U14 BOYS
The boys are in the league final against Greencastle, on Saturday 12th June, the game is to be played in Carrickmore at 3 o’clock . Good luck to the boys and to their coaches. All support would be greatly appreciated.
MINOR GIRLS
The minor girls also find themselves in a league final. After an end to end game, it was all level at full time and extra time had to be played. The girls really showed their determination and fitness when they regrouped and played some excellent football and came away strong winners. Wishing Kieran, Catriona and the girls all the best when they meet the Moy in the final. Date and venue tbc.
FLIGHT OF THE EARLS WALK
Join the flight of the earls as they celebrate their 50th anniversary, and raise money for the Irish wheelchair association. Join in on Sunday 13th June when they walk from Pomeroy to Greencastle. To register contact Kathleen Burns at the Institute of Irish Leadership, 20 The Diamond (need to register before 10am on Sunday morning). Walk to commence at 10.30, everyone is welcome to attend.
COMMERATIVE DVD
A double dvd has been put together of the 125 celebrations of last year. The dvd also includes the presentation to the 1967 team and presentations to the 1984 team. This is a great piece of our club history and is a must for all families of the parish it is for sale for the one off price of £12 and with limited stock you should pick up your copy which will be available from all the local shops or for more information contact John McNamee.
