Club Notes 8th March 2011

Club membership is now due for the incoming year, the rates are the same as last year. Adult membership £25, Youth membership £5 and Family membership £50. Joint membership available with the Clann Chabhan A Chaorthainn. Registration continues this weekend, after vigil Mass on Saturday 5th March and again after Sunday morning Mass, in the Old School. Contact Eddie or Jim Quinn for more information. CLOSING DATE FOR REGISTRATION IS MARCH 23, no one can register after this date.

Lotto

The winning numbers for Monday 7th March were 12, 13, 16, 17 and 20. 7 winners matched 3 numbers. Snowball now £250. Jackpot still remains at £20,000. The lotto is available in all the local shops.

Ladies

The senior and minor girls continue with their training, on Monday at 7.30 and this Thursday at 7pm due to child protection course being run at 8.30pm in the pavillion after training, if you are 16 or above you can do the course. If you are unable to attend please contact Lorraine. Bring indoor and outdoor footwear.

Minor Girls

Next game is at home against Coalisland on Saturday 19th March at 11am.
U12 and U14 Girls
The girls are back training on Tuesdays at 6 and on Saturday mornings at 12.
 

U14 Lads
The boys have produced another great win this week against Donaghmore at home. Next game is away to Derrylaughan on Saturday 8th March at 4pm. Please come out and support the team.
U8′s and U10′s
All the U8’s and U10’s, both boys and girls are continue their training on Saturday mornings at 10.30. Bring indoor and outdoor training gear, and for cold weather wear trackies, hoodies hats and gloves. Anyone who would like to help out in any way with the training, please feel free to come along, or just stay when you drop off your child, all help is greatly appreciated and much needed.
DVD
There is a DVD now available of the U14s boys league final 2010 and also of the minor boys league and championship finals. If you would like to order your copy contact Colm Rafferty on 07703321393 or 87759120.
Handball 
Good luck to the girls that are representing Tyrone in the Ulster finals on Sunday. U13 singles – Patricia McDonald, U17 singles – Michaela McNamee, U15 doubles – Rachel McDonald and Jenna Corrigan and U17 doubles Michaela McGuigan and Jane Loughran.
HANDBALL CAMP
There is a Tyrone handball camp being run over Easter, from the Mon 25th to Fri 29th April, for boys and girls aged 8 – 13. The camp will be held in Loughmacrory. Speak to Bing to book your place. Book early to avoid disappointment as there will be limited places. Check out the website for more details or speak to Bing for more information.

7.15 – 8.15 – 1st to 3rd years
8.15 – 9.30 – 4th year up to 17 years
9.30 – any senior ladies who would like to use the alley
Thursday 7 – 8.30 U12/13

CHILD PROTECTION COURSE

There is a child protection course taking place in the Pavillion, on Thursday 10th March at 8.30. Anyone who will be working with children within the club needs to do this course and anyone over 16 can also do the course. 

DRUGS AWARENESS EVENING – MINORS

As a result of the drugs awareness evening that was held for trainers, the course is now being rolled out to all our youth teams. Starting with all minors aged between 16 and 18, this will take place in the Pavillion on Monday 14th March after both the minor boys and girls trainings, at 8.30pm.

CLUB MERCHANDISE

There is now some new stock for 2011 these include, hoodies, trackies and polo shirts. The club shop will continue to open by request by contacting Maeve Nugent on 87758237 or 07775635391. The shop will also be open on Saturday morning during the youth trainings, 10.30 – 11.30.
