Hard luck to our Minor boys who lost out by just 2 points in the League final last Friday evening against Naomh Mhuire. We started this game very positively and remained in control, after Sean Quinn’s penalty,  until just before the break when Naomh Mhuire reduced our 4 point cushion to the smallest of margins with a late first half goal against the run of play.

This seemed to have an immediate impact and we failed to settle into our rythm in the second period. The dismissal of key players also had an impact in what turned out to be a very dissapointing night indeed for The Plunketts.

Dispite this it was a progressive season in Grade One. Well done to the boys and to their managers on a very successful season.
