It’s been a long night so far but we are still backstage only this time we are in the “Green Room”. We had to contact the local Fire Brigade so that we could get some oxygen down here as everyone seems to be overcome by hairspray fumes and Noel McCreesh’s cigarette smoke. We were happy to see the firemen attend but we were completely elated when they left as both John Devlin and Mickey Connolly received spray tans and Ciaran McKenna left wearing a pair of stockings.
Anyway, you join us in the VIP area where we have got Niamh Armstrong and her dance partner Ruairi “RD” Donaghy.
Niamh, rumour has it that you threatened to get Majella Laird and Brian Lagan arrested for fraud and threw out of the competition for bribing the judging panel. What really happened here?
Well yes this is true! I found out that Majella was bribing the judges with, well I’ll let you work that out for yourself! But then I realised there is not that much of competition for me and Ruairi so I just let them away with it and they can have their fun dancing.
Ruairi, is it true that you broke into Ronan Quinn’s house with a razor in an attempt to cut off his eyebrows only to be caught by his father Fergal, who took the razor off you and shaved off Ronan’s eyebrows anyway?
Yes this may be true. I was sneaking around the back of Quinn’s house trying to be as quiet as I could when I came across some strange noises, seemingly coming from a bedroom. I popped my head up and looked through the window, and surely to God, Ronan wasn’t alone! Oh no, oh no! As I looked closer I could see a woman being throwing around the room, like a doll! Thank God it turned out to be just Donna and they were doing some late night practising, trying to get ahead of the rest of the couples no doubt! As I jumped into the room Donna let a big squeal out of her and Ronan’s daddy Fergal came running through the door quicker than lighting! He was so frustrated that he crabbed the razor out of my hand and took the eyebrows clean off poor young Ronan!!
Niamh, tell us about your outfit. We hear that it is a dress by Primark with hair by “RD”. What can we expect?
Sure it wouldn’t matter if I went commando guys. I have moves and elegance that money can’t buy and sure that’s the main thing yano! Well now, I don’t know about the hair by RD as I have heard a few rumors about that place, a few men talking about it and their poor heads get butchered, so I think I’ll do my own hair just to be safe.
Ruairi, Marc Nugent stated that the big money will be placed on him. He expects to go all the way and laughed off your chances. What is you reaction to that level of confidence?
Marc Nugent is a confident man surely, but to be putting big money on himself and Caroline to win is madness! All I would say to Marc is “let the feet to the talking”
Finally guys have you got any tricks up your sleeve to woo the judges and the public on the night?
We have a few surprises in store, but we don’t want to ruin the chances of the other couples just yet, we will let them have there glory then hit them were it hurts!!
