Community spirit was running high in Pomeroy all weekend. A great start was made with the home coming of Andrea Begley, where she brought the town to a standstill, The Voice winner delighted the crowd with a few songs, posed for photos with fans and thanked the crowd for their support.Then the weekend events kicked off at Plunkett Park with the steak BBQ, it was a lively night with entertainment from the fantastic Hype also joined Andrea. But the talk of the town is Strictly Come Dancing, what a show we had! An unbelievable success & a highly entertaining night. A big thanks goes out to everyone that was involved in anyway with strictly, far to many people to mention. The weekend came to a close with the Family fun day and in the evening Bingo, but also a massive thanks to all of you who came and supported the clubs events over the weekend, without you, it would’nt have been the successful weekend it was.
The under 21′s took on Omagh St Enda’s at home on Sunday, final score was 2-8 to 1-11.
The seniors and reserves take on Eskra at home on Sunday 7th July at 2.15 pm & 3.45pm.

Club Tyrone Funraiser
Club Tyrone are organising a Day at the Races on Friday 26th July at Down RoyalRacecourse, Lisburn.
An exclusive suite has been reserved for us and proceedings will commence at 3.30pm with a three course meal followed by the evening race programme. We will have the services of an expert tipster plus tote betting for our exclusive use. Following the races, there will be musical entertainment to round off the day in a relaxed style. Dress code is smart casual and there will be a prize for the best dressed lady. So the ladies in your party will have every excuse to dress up!
Tables are available for groups of 8, 10 and 12 or alternatively you can choose to attend in smaller groups by purchasing tickets individually.
Tickets are priced at £100 per person to include free parking, entrance fee to the race track, exclusive use of the suite facilities & private tote betting, dinner (including wine) and evening entertainment. This is an ideal opportunity to entertain guests or catch up with friends and family while supporting Tyrone GAA.
