SUMMER CAMP COACHES

Tyrone’s 2012 Summer Camps are just around the corner.  It might be stated the obvious but summer camps without coaches don’t do a lot to develop the GAA in Tyrone.

Coaches are needed for football and hurling.  If you have foundation level coaching and child protection and are interested in some worthwhile and well organized summer work close to home, then Tyrone camps need you.

If you interested then send your coaching cv and a copy of your foundation and child protection certificates via email adminisitrator.2tyrone@gaa.ie or post to Tyrone Summer Camps, Tyrone GAA Office, 1a James Street, Omagh, BT78 1DH

MENTORING PROGRAMME FOR HURLING DEVELOPMENT

The game of Hurling in Tyrone has had somewhat of a rollercoaster existence over the last few decades.  More recently the outlook for Hurling has seen somewhat of an upward increase in popularity and that trend looks certain to continue with the news that Tipperary’s All Ireland winning Hurling Manager Liam Sheedy has been appointed as mentor for the development of Hurling in Tyrone.

Mentoring Programme Day 1 – Saturday 12th May in Killyclogher.

This is open to all GAA clubs in Tyrone and all members with an interest in promoting Hurling within their clubs.

GAELTACHT GRANT

If interested in attending the Gaeltacht this summer, please make queries to the Culture and Language Officer, Cliodhna Ni Giolla Cheara at irishcultureofficer.tyrone@gaa.ie
