A fine team effort, which forced this young reserve side to dig deep, was just what was required to fight off a spirited Rock St Patricks side at Plunkett Park on saturday afternoon. JP and Felix had to “shuffle the deck” somewhat and when called upon the boys were up for this derby match.

Emmett Campbell weighed in with a hefty return of 1-4 whilst Darren wallace caused all sorts of problems for the Rock defence. Solid displays from a full back line containing Dominic Kelly, Rony Quinn and Mickey McDonald ensured that the lads ran out winners.
